Finca La Donaira is made up of just nine rooms, but the opportunities are endless. On La Donaira’s 1500 acre property, you can do anything, from horseback riding and bathing in natural springs, to exploring an organic medicinal garden or meditating over a bee bed. Head to the soil academy for one-on-one training in eco-friendly and regenerative agriculture to learn about the world beneath your feet (and on your plate). However, if you seek a more adventurous stay, fret not. La Donaira offers its visitors the chance to paraglide, hike, and horse-back ride over miles of rolling hills and plains.
Food and Land
La Donaira makes sustainable, luxurious, and adventurous travel easy. Its organic plantations, vineyards, and orchards are maintained by carefully protected herds of endangered cows, as well as mules, donkeys, and an in-house bred herd of Lusitanian horses. Most of the food served at La Donaira’s restaurant is produced on the estate, from peaches and apricots to eggs, bread, and honey. Farm to table dining combined biodynamic, organic, traditional, and innovative processes to put delicious, home-grown food on your plate. The creative menu showcases local flavors in conjunction with innovative culinary techniques.
